Non-metalic metal and Blood in snow effects

Hey I have just finished a cool objective marker testing out the non-metallic metal idea it turned out surprisingly better than I thought. here is the tutorial I used

it was pretty useful exept at the end to get the metalic effect I gave it a light wash of badab black for silver and devland mud for gold.

Also in this model I tried to give the effect that Elendil was bleeding in snow the Gale force nine snow powder is pretty absorbent so I used a lot of wash to give it the dark red effect.

Next warbands saterday the 20th

Hey I am really exited for the warbands on saterday. I now found out how to get bigger and better pics so there should be plent of pic this time no one gets left out. also I am really pumped to finally win a game hopefully with my ghoast warband it will be a slight change. Ill be summoning plenty of zombies!!

Wight king total conversion

Well after spending about 3 hours with a exacto knife a tube of green stuff and a box of grave guard. I finished my Whight king Banner barer. I made it from about 6 different boxes but I think it turned out really cool.

Spirit Hosts

Finally I finished converting my spirit hosts it was really easy. just cut the base part off then pinned them on a piece of rod that will be harder to see when its painted and based to give it the appearance of flight.

Bring out cha' dead

I have just finished model that I am incredibly proud to say that I painted. The descusting CORPES CART!

February 6th warbands armies

Hey after yesterdays warbands I had a ton of fun ,and I really saw some cool armies. I got a ton of pictures.

like Tim's elves fast and easy with a way cool result.


man the tomb kings were tough and looked pretty cool the chariots in that army are really tough to beat. the two undead armies destroyed each other to the point of a draw.


Will's ogres were pretty good to but the coolest part of his army I think was the converted bruiser from a lord of the rings troll.

After such a crushing defeat and being pretty easily crushed by everyone I think I'm going with something completely different.

Painted warbands armies from our games

Hey Eric here,
I thought that since the warbands is officially going to start and people are really coming along on painting their armies. that are really looking spectacular I would start to take some close ups of all the really cool paint schemes and armies that I have seen hit the table at the store. There have also been some that are just really cool fantasy models from bigger games like stegadons ,Dragons and hydras.
Hopefully this gives other players an incentive to get there stuff painted as well as put together.

Also if you are a new player or hobbyist This may be a good source of painting tips and tricks of how to get your army battle worthy.
